CD Covers: Counter-strike.

Design Brief:

A set of CD covers, front and back designed in Adobe Illustrator was the project for this module. The stipulation being that the cover specifications had to be an exact match to that of the CD Jewel cases which record companies use.

Rationale:

Inspiration for the CD covers came from the computer game, counter strike, and a decision was made to recreate the covers using actual screenshots from the game. Adobe Photoshop filters was then used to turn the background colour to sepia and applied bevel to enhance the scopes realism.
Features such as the CD-key and barcode were also included to add authenticity as well as choosing the correct typography to reflect the subject.
